After surveying the University of Tennessee campus in Martin to get an overview of the level of accessibility, we worked with the university staff to establish a plan of action and developed an ADA based handbook which addressed how to remediate the different issues which might be encountered. The following items were included in the assessment:
    restroom compliance (fixture and area requirements)
    door compliance (clearances and hardware)
Post-study, HGA has been involved in updating several buildings on the Martin campus to meet current accessibility code requirements.
