The University of Tennessee commissioned the Horrell Group to detail drawings for exterior restoration of four masonry buildings on their Memphis campus. The work included pressure washing all exterior surfaces; cleaning all glazing; repainting metal doors, louvers and lintels; replacing all sealant at joints; applying water repellant to all masonry and replacing the coping at the tops of walls. At two of the buildings, brick and flashing were replaced at the window heads. This work resulted in a cleaner appearance as well as a watertight facade.
