The Horrell Group was initially hired by Kraft Foods to provide project administration during the construction of the Kraft Technology Center at 8000 Horizon Blvd. in Memphis, which had been designed by another architect. During that time, we developed a relationship with the owner, and they asked us to design the remodel of several areas of the Technology Center.
The renovations included several areas in the Technical Center- instrument and analytical labs, a culinary lab, kitchen, bakery, general office space, and renovation of the existing auditorium space.
The square footage of the portions of this project are as follows:
Culinary Lab 721 s.f.
Bakery 721 s.f.
Instrument/Analytical Labs 3,560 s.f.
Auditorium 1,135 s.f.
General Office 2,300 s.f.
