The Bartlett Engineering Department commissioned HGA to draft construction documents for roof replacement on Fire Station #3. The current 5,800 square feet of low-sloped built-up roof was investigated, and based on leak locations, there was a concern that the roof was not the only source of leaks. What is presumed to be improper flashing at brick work, could be causing a significant amount of leaking below the high parapet walls. The project scope was changed to install a new facade on the high parapet walls to reduce the possibility of future leaks.
